Pattern's founders began the business in early 2013, selling fridge magnets from home on Amazon.com under the?brand iServe.

Identifying what makes an Amazon seller successful, they expanded their range. However, price undercutting other resellers engaged in - combined with the lack of brand protection resellers offered?- sparked an idea for a new business model.

By 2014, iServe had evolved to provide consumer brands with a partnership model - backed by iServe's TriGuardian software - to profitably grow and protect their Amazon sales.

Global expansion

The exclusive authorised Amazon reseller model proved attractive to a growing list of brands; particularly as iServe was prepared to share risk?by purchasing stock.

By 2017 iServe had distribution centres for its stock in Utah, Kentucky and Toronto, and was exploring marketplaces such as eBay and Jet.

In September 2018, iServe acquired global ecommerce consultancy Practicology to power its global expansion and localise its business model;?including in China, where Practicology is an authorised Tmall Trade Partner.

New name - same focus

In November 2018, iServe became Pattern Inc?and moved its headquarters to?Lehi, in Utah's emerging technology region dubbed "Silicon Slopes".

Now a top 10 Amazon reseller globally - and one of the fastest growing businesses in the USA according to Inc. 500?- Pattern's revenue?exceeded $200 million?in 2018.

It remains committed to using data to deliver growth and brand protection for its clients selling online all over the world.
